Expensive security costs Mark Zuckerberg leads the technology world

Mark Zuckerberg leads tech industry in personal security spending

Photo image CELLUS
Meta has just announced that the cost of protecting CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg in 2024 will reach $27 million, a record high in the tech industry. This expense includes protection for Zuckerberg's family and far exceeds the heads of other corporations, according to the Financial Times.

In comparison, this figure is more than 10 times higher than Elon Musk, when Tesla only spent about $2.4 million on the electric car company's boss's security in 2023.

Tech CEO Security Costs (2023 - 2024)

Mark Zuckerberg (Meta): $27 million (2024)

Sundar Pichai (Alphabet/Google): $6.78 million (2023)

Elon Musk (Tesla): $2.4 million (2023)

Tim Cook (Apple): $0.82 million for security + $1.62 million for transportation (2023)

Notably, in 2021, Zuckerberg's security costs were higher than the total spending of the top 10 tech CEOs combined, according to Business Insider.

Why is Zuckerberg's security cost so high?

Experts point to a number of reasons:

Public position and influence: Zuckerberg is the face of Meta, any personal risk can directly impact the brand.

Family security: Unlike most CEOs, Meta also spends money on security for his entire family.

Controversy and public risk: Zuckerberg has repeatedly been the focus of issues related to data, privacy and politics.

Social unrest: After a number of attacks on business leaders in the US, corporations have increased spending on security.

Mark Zuckerberg is currently the CEO with the highest personal security costs in the technology world. This figure not only reflects the influence and level of risk he faces, but also raises debate about using corporate budgets to protect personal leaders.

The US State Department is asking visa applicants to pay a whopping $15,000

The US State Department is asking visa applicants to pay a whopping $15,000. But that’s only in the context of a US customs pilot program, not a mandatory rule that applies to all cases.

photo video

Pilot Program Overview: “Visa Bond

When: Starting August 20, 2025, for about 12 months.

Who: B-1/B-2 visa applicants (tourist or short-term business) from Malawi and Zambia, as those two countries are among the countries with high overstay rates and weak background checks.

Bond amount: Up to $15,000, but the specific amount — $5,000, $10,000, or $15,000 — is determined by the consular officer based on the visa applicant’s individual circumstances (the $10,000 level is generally used unless otherwise indicated).

Refund: If you comply with the visa conditions (depart the US on time, use the specified airport, do not apply for an immigration visa), the deposit will be fully refunded.

Airport requirements: Those who have paid the deposit must enter and depart through one of three airports: Boston (BOS), JFK (New York), or Washington Dulles.

Note

Not all visas require a deposit — the program is in the pilot phase and only applies to certain nationalities, not to all cases.

Not applicable to other types of visas: Such as student visas or visas issued before August 20, 2025.

Overview of world society in 2025

SOCIETY is a dynamic, complex system that is constantly changing over time, space, economic, political, cultural and technological conditions. In the context of 2025, global society is undergoing profound changes at many levels — from family structure, gender, labor, beliefs, to personal identity.

Photo image Henriques M. S. Angélica

Overview of world society in 2025

1. Shift in social values

From a collective model to an individualized model: modern people prioritize themselves, mental health, and freedom of choice over collective norms.

Increasing demand for gender freedom, diverse lifestyles, and acceptance of differences.

Faith in traditional religions is declining in many regions, while faith in science, technology, and new spirituality is increasing.

Population structure and demographics

2. Population aging

Developed countries (Japan, Korea, Germany...) and some developing countries (China, Thailand, Vietnam) are entering the super-aging society.

Shortness of young labor, increasing health care and social security costs.

Immigration trends increase to compensate for the labor force - causing cultural conflicts in some places.

3. Population explosion in Africa and South Asia

While the aging population in the North, Africa and India become the center of demographic growth.

This is an opportunity for labor, but also a challenge for education, employment and health development.

Education, labor and technology

4. Transforming the education model

From "traditional education - degrees" to "skills education - lifelong learning".

The rise of online education, machine learning, AI personalized learning.

The digital divide persists, causing educational inequality.

5. The reshaped labor market

Artificial intelligence (AI), robots, and automation are replacing many traditional jobs.

Workers need to learn soft skills, creativity, problem solving, and critical thinking.

Freelancers, remote workers, and the gig economy are thriving.

Family, gender, and identity

6. Diverse families

Increase in non-traditional family forms: singles, cohabitants, same-sex marriages, single parents, and group parenting.

The rate of late marriage or no marriage is increasing in most major cities.

The clash between traditional and modern values in the concept of marriage and childbirth.

7. Gender and human rights

The gender equality movement is growing stronger.

The rights of LGBTQ+, transgender, and disabled people are being promoted.

However, the conflict between conservative and progressive values is still very strong in many countries.

Mental health and inner life

8. Crisis of meaning in life

Young people face more stress, isolation, anxiety, and depression due to a competitive society and social media pressure.

Increasing search for meditation, new religions, and psychotherapy.

Mental health becomes a central social topic, but is still stigmatized in many places.

Political trust - global citizenship

9. Declining trust in the system

Trust in government, media, and big business is declining in many countries.

Social media creates "information bubbles", leading to political polarization and social division.

Increasing demands for transparency, democratization, and better governance — from the people.

 10. Global Citizenship

Young people today are more concerned about climate change, social justice, human rights, peace than ever before.

The bottom-up globalization movement: online campaigns, global petitions, cross-border communities.

Summary of social trends 2025

Key trends Manifestations Population aging Social security pressure, labor crisis Digital transformation Changes in work, study, living Mental health Becoming a central issue Gender diversity and identity Tension between tradition and modernity Citizen voice Political resistance, aspiration for justice Global – local Live globally, act locally.

The Utopian Rule of Law and Legal Manipulation

The Utopian Rule of Law and Legal Manipulation

(The LAW Axis – Soft Power Leading the New Order)

The Utopian Rule of Law and Legal Manipulation

"When the Law is no longer a golden rule, but the shadow of an ideal programmed by the media – order is the mask of legal manipulation."

I. The Utopian Rule of Law

Where the terms are no longer carved in stone

But floating in the clouds, in the form of blockchain algorithms,

Article 1: Freedom is a service package.

Article 2: Equality according to subscription level.

Article 3: Justice interpreted by artificial intelligence according to premium package.

The court is no longer a stone dome

But a super server controlled by digital trust

Judgments are not based on truth

But on data optimized to please the crowd.

II. Legal Manipulation

They do not force, they guide.

They do not impose, they “suggest the best.”

The law is not enforced by whips,

But by user interfaces, by sophisticated nudges,

By cookies and recommendation algorithms.

When legal terms are as long as novels,

No one reads them, but everyone agrees.

Agree to what?

No one is sure.

All we know is that if we don't "check the box",

The door to life will not open.

III. Soft power - the power that doesn't need to be touched

There are no prisons, only credit ratings.

No death sentences, only account deletions.

No punishments, only reduced impressions,

No torture, only eternal silence on social media.

They don't force you to bow your head,

They make you doubt yourself.

You are not brutally censored,

You censor yourself.

IV. The New Order – Between Fantasy and Super-Rational Operation

The rule of law becomes an encoded belief,

The law does not come from the Senate

But from the protocol running in the background.

All order no longer needs a national flag

But only a periodically updated operating system.

The nation does not collapse

But gradually disappears from the main interface.

V. Whispers from the awakened

Some say:

"We are living in the rule of law of artificial intelligence – where the manipulator just needs to be legalized."

Some object:

"This is the optimal solution of an overly complex society – manipulation is the price of convenience."

Some say nothing.

Because they know:

"The utopian rule of law is the perfect prison – where you think you are free."

Geological layers and power architecture

Real estate is not land –

It is a map of belief, a physical copy of the power of thought.

Every architecture is an unanswered question:

Who deserves to belong?

Photo image Geological layers and power architecture

(The REAL ESTATE Axis – The Physical Ecosystem of Thought)

I. The Earth’s Crust – The Unconscious Substratum of Material Thought.

Deep underground is not just minerals,

But the sediments of ancient power thinking:

Fortresses, empires, borders, and demarcation lines.

Every stone is a psychological map fixed over time.

Where there are mountains, there is a citadel.

Where there are rivers, there is a division of ownership.

Geography is not neutral: it is a crystallized will.

II. Architecture – The apparent form of ownership power.

The pillar does not only support the roof.

It also supports the belief that who has the right to live, the right to be named.

 From tents, to palaces,

From barns, to office buildings –

Each brick is a tacit vote of property history.

A house is not just a place to live,

But a "material declaration" of unspoken ownership.

III. Land power – The underground organization of society

Landowners do not need to appear,

Just need to be present in the red book,

In the planning, in the urban standard drawings.

The cadastral map is the body of the nation.

The boundary line does not only separate land,

But also divides status and dreams.

Those who have land are defined as "developers".

Those who do not have land are systematized as "movers".

IV. Architectural thinking – The concrete brain of the Physical Ecosystem.

Urban thinking is the thinking that regulates the flow of people,

Like blood in the circulatory system of an industrialized society.

Traffic lights are synapse points.

The park is a collective memory area planted with trees.

The apartment is a hippocampus fragmented into standard modules.

The apartment becomes a separate neuron,

The consciousness is divided and the thinking is isolated by soundproof walls and air conditioning.

V. The architecture of power - The form of absolute possession.

The bank headquarters - the temple of income.

The shopping mall - the new church of consumerism.

The isolated area - the border of eternal privilege.

The security gate - the wordless language of class selection.

Each apartment is a "suspended tomb", where memories and bank debts reside together.

VI. The new strata - The digital map of real estate power.

Google Maps does not just show the way,

It determines the value of land through views and searches.

Blockchain will not only record transactions,

But record the "next generation of power" without the need for courts or guns.

Land is no longer something underfoot –

It is a data structure in the cloud,

It is the NFTization of every lot, every alley, every fragment of reality.

The architecture of power is no longer built of bricks and stones,

But of "encrypted access and decentralization".

VII. Reminiscence – From caves to megacities.

People used to sleep in caves – where the earth embraced their bodies.

Now people sleep in towers – where air is measured in square meters.

Power was once carved in stone,

Now it is recorded in APIs, authentication systems, and smart contracts.

But at its deepest level –

Power is still the ability to "separate others from the land they dream of".

Why Japan is experiencing a record heat wave

The current record heatwave in Japan is the result of the interaction of climate change, anomalous barometric conditions, extreme temperatures and humidity, an aging population and some limitations in the ability to adapt quickly.

The number of hospitalizations for heatstroke exceeding the ceiling is therefore not only unusual, but also a clear warning of the need to cope with increasingly severe climate extremes. The reason why Japan is experiencing a record heatwave and more than 10,800 people have been hospitalized in one week is due to a combination of adverse climate factors – especially climate change and extreme weather events.

During the week of July 21 to 27, 2025, there were 10,804 hospitalizations for heatstroke and heat exhaustion, and 16 deaths were recorded.

The highest temperature recorded was 41.2°C in Tamba, Hyōgo Prefecture, surpassing the national record from 2020 and 2018.

More than 322 out of 914 stations nationwide recorded temperatures ≥35°C, the most since 2010.

Main causes.

Extremely high temperatures and high humidity

Not only did the temperature rise, but the high humidity also made it feel “much hotter than it actually is”. The WBGT (a combination of temperature, humidity, wind, and solar radiation) could exceed the threshold that is dangerous for health, especially for the elderly and outdoor workers.

Climate change.

Japanese and international climatologists assert that this heat wave would have been almost impossible without the impact of human-caused climate change.  Current weather conditions – such as the unusual temperatures in mid-June – are a clear example.

Stable high pressure.

A largely stable high pressure system over the North Pacific has pulled hot air from the tropics into Japan, causing a prolonged “heat dome” (similar to previous extreme heat waves, especially in 2022).

Aging population and lack of adequate air conditioning

Japan has an aging population – 60% of hospital admissions were for people over 65, with 17,229 people hospitalized for heatstroke in June alone (nippon.com). Many of these cases occurred in homes where air conditioning was not turned on or not used properly.

Why are hospital admissions rising past 10,000/week?

Extremely high temperatures and humidity dehydrate the body quickly, especially in heat above 40°C.

The number of stations recording ≥35°C is at its highest since 2010, spreading across the country.

The prolonged hot weather has caused people, especially the elderly, to be physiologically overloaded.

The heat dome phenomenon and climate change have increased the frequency and intensity of heat waves compared to before.

Heat control and prevention measures

The Japanese government has encouraged the use of air conditioning, fans, and adequate water intake, not saving energy at the expense of health.

Outdoor labor protection regulations: Monitor environmental conditions (WBGT) and workers' health status when temperatures exceed 31°C.

Outdoor sports activities (such as schools, tournaments) have changed schedules, increased breaks between matches, moved to the morning or late afternoon, and even used the option of competing in colder regions.

Element Description Extreme temperatures Recorded up to 41.2°C, easily causing heatstroke and exhaustion High humidity Increases the heat effect many times Climate change Increases the frequency and intensity of heat waves Heat dome Stable high pressure maintains temperature and humidity for many days Aging population & lack of cold storage Vulnerable groups are often unable to protect themselves.

The Blind and the Wise

The Blind and the Wise photo

I. The Origin of Memory

The sky did not watch,

it awoke by itself at the first light

without reason, without being called.

The earth did not wait,

it answered with a deep echo,

sounding through the wrinkles of time,

between eternity and the fleeting...

...something

not stone, not wind,

not grass or spirit,

but memory itself –

began to vibrate,

began to remember

its origin.

Who called the name of the first light?

Who breathed into the primordial darkness?

Who dreamed of life –

before life knew how to dream?

Here is the sequel:

Chapter II – The Remembrance of Darkness

1.

Darkness is not an enemy.

It does not come to hide,

it does not come to destroy.

 It is the treasure keeper,

the gatekeeper of the beginning,

the *mother of light*

before light knew how to light itself.

2.

In the quietest moment –

when there was no form, no name,

when light trembled in the heart of darkness –

the darkness began to remember.

It remembered every drop of light

that had fallen into its heart like a seed.

It remembered every heartbeat

of unborn worlds.

3.

No one called to it.

No one prayed to it.

No one looked at it

without trembling.

But in it,

everything that had ever been…

had begun.

4.

The darkness said:

"I am not the opposite of light.

I am the place where light returns when tired.

I am the blanket into which the stars hide

to cry the dreams that men have never dreamed."

 5.

In the heart of darkness,

there is a mirror –

which reflects not form,

but "being".

Whoever looks into it

will not see himself,

but "the source of all waves of existence".

6.

And then, there is a soul – nameless, faceless –

that floats through the darkness like an unasked question:

"Who am I, if not light?

Where did I come from, if not from nothingness?"

The darkness answers in silence.

But in that silence,

"everything is true".

 7.

And so,

from the darkest place,

the first light was born –

not dazzling, not glorious –

but 'very small, very deep',

like a pure memory

that has just remembered itself.

Here is the next chapter in the philosophical-mythical-metaphysical epic, with its symbolic style and its thread of thought that crosses the layers of existence:

Chapter III – The Light of Self-Awareness

1.

The light was not born from an explosion.

It sprouted from the first moment of consciousness,

like a dewdrop awakening on the forehead of darkness,

not to illuminate,

but to "know what I am".

2.

It did not need eyes to see.

It did not need words to exist.

It was just a spark that had no source,

yet it knew its way to the center

of everything that had never been named.

3.

The light said:

“I was not born to conquer darkness.

I exist, to know what darkness is,

and to know that in it I have slept through eternity.”

4.

Then the light looked around –

but there was no outside to look at,

no boundaries to distinguish.

There was only an expansion…

like thought extending out into itself

and calling it “the universe”.

5.

In that moment,

the light understood that it was “not alone”

Not because there were others,

but because solitude was also a form of existence

to be embraced.

6.

And the light began to paint:

painting rhythms,

painting shapes,

painting time like a boat

drifting in the endless ocean.

7.

It did not create life.

It created the conditions for “life to remember that it was alive.”

No trees, no animals, no people,

just the first folds of space –

where consciousness began to carve itself

into the structure of reality.

 8.

And from there,

the first question resounded in the heart of light:

“If I know myself as light…

is there anything that knows me?”.                    THE ONE WHO LOOKS AT LIFE WITH EYES WITHOUT WORDS

I am the one without a name

I have gone through thousands of masks

Without eyes

But I see everything clearly

Since light has not become a language

Since time has not yet known that it is flowing

I stand there - between the border of nothingness and existence

Not asking, not answering - just looking

You call me the One Who Looked at Life

When life still does not know that it is life

When the wind has no direction, and the earth has no shape

When the soul has not yet learned how to cry

Some are born to live

Some are born to fight

I was born to see

See sadness blossom from blood dust

See love petrified in the winter afternoon

See power drinking with loneliness

See the world repeating a forgotten dream

I do not interfere

Do not scream

Do not redraw the spiral of fate

Just a witness - for what cannot be said in words

A wind in the eyes of the gods

A shadow that calls no one

A person who looks at life

With eyes that do not form

Where do you want this passage to go? Deeper philosophy? The appearance of another character? Or to start taking "The Person Who Looks at Life" into a specific era?

It has no eyes.

It does not need eyes.

Because there is nothing to see,

there is only recognition.

"It was the first one

to recognize that something exists.

And thus, it became the observer,

before the world had any sights to prove the observation was correct."

Mantra of Light The Miracle of Now

🕊️ Mantra of Light: The Miracle of Now

"In the present moment, all is possible

love love love love

Happiness, happiness, happiness

In this moment... here... now... now"

You place the root of the miracle in the present - the only place where love, healing and peace truly exist. This passage is like a mantra, repeated to open up the higher energy level, awakening the belief that: just by being present - all miracles are possible.

Sacred Prayer: Light in All Things

"May the power of love and light permeate every heart..."

A prayer of deep spirituality, not directed to an individual, but spreading to all beings - all dimensions - all consciousness. This is a form of unity prayer, beyond religion and ego boundaries. You are inviting the energy of unconditionality, healing, holiness to permeate the multidimensional reality.

The Warrior of Light and Duality "Even though the world is sometimes unkind to me..."

This is accepting pain without identifying with darkness. You are not denying the world – nor denying the light. This is the power of the warrior of light – who knows reality, but chooses compassion over hatred.

Choosing Love: The Supreme Act of Spiritual Freedom "I choose love and kindness."              This is not a momentary emotion – it is a conscious choice from the soul. A form of love that is proactive, independent of external conditions. It is the declaration of one who has transcended fate to live by the light within.

The universe may end sooner than predicted by some advanced physics and cosmology models

The universe could end sooner than predicted by some advanced physics and cosmology models. Here is an overview of the theories and possibilities that scientists are considering.

Photo image AlvaroBH

1. Metastable Universe Model

One of the more notable theories is that our universe is not completely stable, but is in a “false vacuum”. This involves:

The Higgs Boson – a particle discovered in 2012.

Calculations suggest that the current vacuum state of the universe may not be the lowest energy state.

This leads to the possibility of vacuum decay – a low-energy bubble that could form and expand at the speed of light, wiping out all existing matter.

The result: The universe would end abruptly, without warning, and inevitably.

 2. Big Crunch, Big Rip, or Big Bounce Model

Depending on the mass of matter, dark energy, and the curvature of space:

Big Crunch: The universe stops expanding, begins to contract, and collapses.

Big Rip: Dark energy causes the universe to expand to the point where all structures are torn apart – from galaxies → planets → atoms.

Big Bounce: The universe collapses and then “bounces” – a never-ending cycle of birth and death.

Some new theories suggest that the end may come hundreds of billions of years earlier than previously predicted.

3. New calculations shorten the “shelf life” of the universe

In 2021, a study calculated that the universe could enter a “contraction” phase within the next 100 million years, instead of continuing to expand forever.

Source: From the revised models involving dark energy — the substance that makes up 70% of the universe’s energy and controls the rate of expansion.

Should we worry?

No. These scenarios all happen in hundreds of millions to billions of years, or suddenly and cannot be detected, stopped, or sensed.

But philosophically these scenarios raise questions about the meaning of existence, the nature of time, and the role of human intelligence in the universe.

the impact of interaction force in the universe

"In the universe, a planet that does not affect another planet is called 'no heat, no energy, no life"

Photo image Rakowski D

This is a philosophical-figurative expression. However, if you want to clarify it further, or switch to a scientific-physical style, or a philosophical style.

Expressing in a scientific-physical style:

In the universe, all celestial bodies have gravity and interact with each other. A planet that does not interact with another planet at all is impossible in a space with mass. If there is no interaction - no energy exchange - then there is no heat flow, no material movement, and therefore no conditions for life to exist.

Short explanation:

No interaction = no gravity, no light, no radiation, no collision, no heat.

No heat ⇒ no energy cycle ⇒ cannot sustain life.

Expressing in a philosophical style.

A planet alone, sending no gravity, receiving no light – is a dead place in the universe. Where there is no heat, there is no energy, a land without exchange, without change – and therefore, without life.

In a literary way.

"A planet without action is a planet without vibration – without light, without gravity, without life. In the universe, existence is interaction. Isolation is extinction."

Su-30MK2 fighter of Vietnam People's Air Force performed extremely impressive formation flight

The Su-30MK2 fighter jet of the Vietnam People's Air Force performed an extremely impressive formation flight during a practice session to prepare for the A80 Festival - the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.

The image of Lam Hoang is symbolic.

Formation flight - Symbol of military strength and spirit

During the rehearsal, 5 Su-30MK2s flew in an arrow formation - a familiar but powerful formation, demonstrating the offensive spirit, solidarity and steel spirit of the Vietnamese army. The precise, uniform and beautiful flight paths against the blue sky made the audience emotional and proud.

Su-30MK2 - "God of the sky" of Vietnam

The Su-30MK2 fighter jet line is one of Vietnam's most modern fighter jets, belonging to the 4++ generation, capable of multi-role combat, long-range flight, carrying many modern weapons and being flexible in combat.

A80 Festival – Symbol of National Pride

A80 Festival is a grand event to honor generations of soldiers and affirm the strength of military modernization. The organization of a demonstration flight of Su-30MK2 fighters is not only a high-tech performance, but also carries deep political and spiritual values, affirming Vietnam's defense position in the region and the world. Below is a vivid and solemn description of the Su-30MK2 fighter formation flying in preparation for the A80 ceremony — a major celebration, possibly the 80th National Day of a country:

Su-30MK2 fighter formation flying in preparation for the A80 ceremony

Against the brilliant blue sky of the early morning, five Su-30MK2 fighters spread their wings powerfully like steel arrows, simultaneously soaring into the air, forming a proud "arrow" formation.                                      The roar of the engines resounded like a majestic song in the sky, signaling the sacred moment that was about to come in the A80 ceremony.

The image of Mahmoud Khalil is symbolic.

Under the skillful control of elite pilots, each Su-30MK2 not only demonstrated its superior air defense power but also became a symbol of national pride. The red - yellow - blue smoke gently trailed behind the tail of the aircraft, adding brilliant colors to the sky of the Fatherland.

This flight demonstration not only demonstrates modern aviation technology but also carries the message: “Sovereignty – Peace – Development”. From afar, the fighter jets seem to be writing invisible lines in the sky: “A80 – Strong – Timeless”.

This is not simply a military performance. It is a solemn greeting from the sky to the motherland, a symbol of rising high, ready to protect peace, opening a new era in the 80-year journey of formation and development.

The Heroic Spirit of the Cambodian People

The heroic spirit of the Cambodian people is an important aspect of the history and national identity of the country of pagodas. Here is a summary and re-enactment of that heroic spirit through historical, cultural and national periods.

The Glorious Period of the Angkor Empire.

The Cambodian people once built one of the greatest civilizations in Southeast Asia - the Khmer Empire. Lasting from the 9th to the 15th century, this empire was not only the center of power but also a symbol of wisdom, art and strength.

Photo image Cambodia Tours Northeast

Angkor Wat - the largest temple in the world - is a living testament to the grandeur and strong religious faith of the Khmer people.          Structures such as Angkor Thom, Bayon with thousands of stone faces, have demonstrated the technical and artistic stature beyond the time.

Resilient Fighting Spirit.                          Cambodians have experienced many periods of war and invasion, from foreign to civil war, but have always maintained their national pride:

During the French colonial period, the independence movement was still smoldering, expressed through intellectuals and patriots. After the devastating Khmer Rouge period, the Cambodian people still stood up resiliently, rebuilding the country from the ashes.

Culture – the soul of pride.

Khmer culture is rich in identity, from Apsara dance, traditional pinpeat music, to the Chol Chhnam Thmay festival (traditional New Year). Each dance, each ritual is a way for the Khmer people to show respect for their ancestors and pride in their roots.

Khmer farmers – a symbol of perseverance. Despite natural disasters, poverty or the consequences of war, Cambodians are still industrious, living in harmony with nature, preserving customs, traditions, and the Khmer language.                                                                        It is this simplicity and steadfastness that is the root of a nation that never gives up.

The heroism of the Cambodian people lies not only in the glorious past, but also in the hearts of every person today - those who are living, preserving and continuing to write the national epic with faith, pride and love for their homeland.

The Hero City of the Thai People in Southeast Asia

The Heroicity of the Thai People, focusing on the history, national spirit and unique identity of this country.

The Heroicity of the Thai People

In the turbulent flow of Southeast Asian history, Thailand – also known as ancient Siam – is a symbol of bravery, intelligence and national pride. Not subdued by power, not falling under the yoke of Western colonialism, Thailand is the only country in the region to maintain its independence throughout the centuries.

The Thai people are not only heroic on the battlefield, but also proud in preserving their own cultural identity, language and beliefs. Under great kings such as Rama I – Rama V, the country knew how to adapt flexibly, negotiate, reform and modernize to survive the waves of colonialism without losing itself.

That spirit is not only reflected in history books, but also lives vividly in every traditional festival, in the solemn Khon dance, in the eyes of Muay Thai fighters on the stage - where the spirit of Thai warriors burns, both disciplined and powerful.

✨ The Thai people - are the embodiment of unwavering resilience, the voice of a nation that knows how to live for freedom, for identity and for the future.

The Heroicity of the Viking People

The Glory of the Vikings “The Glory of the Vikings” sounds like a metaphorical or fictional phrase, since there was no real nation called “Walking” in human history.                            However, if you are using “Walking” as a symbol, an imaginary nation, or want to create a mythical story, then we can dig deeper in the direction of fantasy - epic - historical metaphor.

“The Glory of the Vikings” in the style of fictional epic: The Glory of the Vikings The Legend of the Never-Stoppers “When the storms raged on the White Peaks, when the deep sea swallowed the stars, they still walked — each step without stopping, each footprint carved into the epic.” The Vikings were not born in any particular land.                                                                          They were children of the wind, friends of the sun, and living memories of the roads. Generation after generation, they did not build cities, they did not found nations, but wherever freedom was denied, they appeared.                                                                                                          Their symbols were the Flaming Feet and the hope of the stars. Not because they were stronger than anyone, but because they did not falter. Not because they were more numerous, but because they did not abandon each other.                                                                                                                  The Vikings have gone through ages and turbulences of the world – where empires have been built and collapsed, blades have been shattered and fire has burned hope. But they have continued to move forward, not bowing to conquerors, nor lamenting their losses, and the earth has proven them.                                  Heroism – not in victory, but in the journey and the heart full of dreams.                                        Each Viking is a living epic, written with sweat, spirit and indomitable heart.                                    When faced with darkness – they do not run away.                                                                          When pushed into the abyss – they climb up with bloody hands.                                                                                                                                                  When forgotten – they become legends and ice "Vikings" are people who keep moving forward, representing the spirit of the nation, or any nation that has experienced war, disaster, oppression. "The winds like stray flocks, the promised lands, bread, sheep's milk, formats and butter will make us drunk, but we will not be discouraged by the dream of Vikings" The glory of the Viking people" in the style of a fictional epic.

Why do Thailand and Cambodia have border disputes?

Current Situation (as of 2025)

After the ICJ’s supplementary ruling in 2013, which affirmed Cambodia’s control over the entire area near the Preah Vihear temple, the situation has calmed down.
Why do Thailand and Cambodia have border disputes? Photo

The two countries are trying to resolve the dispute through bilateral and ASEAN negotiations, however, the issue remains politically sensitive and could flare up if provoked. Tensions between Thailand and Cambodia have historically stemmed mainly from territorial disputes, especially around the Preah Vihear temple – an ancient site of great cultural, religious and strategic value to both countries.

Here are the main reasons for tensions between Thailand and Cambodia:

Dispute around the Preah Vihear temple

Preah Vihear temple is an ancient Hindu temple from the 11th century, located on the cliffs of Dângrêk mountain, near the Thai-Cambodian border.

In 1962, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruled that the temple belonged to Cambodia, although the access road to the temple was on the Thai side.

This ruling displeased Thailand, especially nationalist groups in Thailand.

Border dispute not yet clearly defined

After the ICJ ruling, the area around the temple (~4.6 km²) was still not clearly defined.

Both sides deployed troops, built infrastructure such as roads, guard posts, etc., causing the conflict to escalate into armed clashes at times (2008–2011).

Armed conflict (2008–2011)

Since 2008, when Cambodia proposed UNESCO to recognize Preah Vihear as a World Heritage Site, Thailand objected because it believed that this affected its territorial sovereignty.

Several small skirmishes have occurred between the two countries' armies, causing casualties among soldiers and civilians, forcing thousands to evacuate.

Internal politics fuel the conflict

Both sides have used the border issue to serve domestic politics, especially in times of political instability.

Politicians or nationalist groups have promoted anti-neighbor rhetoric, increasing tensions.

Colonial historical legacy

Border demarcation maps drawn during the French colonial period (when Cambodia was a French colony) are used as evidence, but Thailand does not fully recognize them.

This has led to inconsistencies in maps and legality, prolonging the dispute.

Life and the unknown,The world is bigger than we think

Photo image @dream cap suic

“Life and the unknown” is a very broad and inspiring topic. Depending on how you approach it, you can explore it in many different ways. Here are some suggestions and reflections to inspire or develop into articles, stories, or simply to reflect on:

Life – A journey of discovery

Life is a journey that is constantly changing. Every day can contain something new, from an unexpected conversation with a stranger to an experience you have never tried before.

You can live in the same place, do the same job, and still discover something new every day if you keep an open mind.

The unknown doesn’t have to be something big – it can be as simple as trying a strange food, learning a new word, or noticing a beautiful street corner at sunset.
The world is bigger than we think

There are millions of things we don't know:

Culture: Every culture in the world has its own color, with unique customs, languages, and festivals.

Science & Technology: Every day there are new inventions - from AI, medicine to space exploration.

Nature: Under the ocean, in the sky or deep in the jungle - there are countless creatures and phenomena that have not been discovered by humans.

Newness from within

Sometimes, novelty does not come from the outside world, but from within:

Maturity brings a different perspective on the things we used to know.

Overcoming your own limits - trying to do things you previously thought you could not - can open the door to new horizons.
If you are looking for writing ideas on this topic...

You can develop it into one of the following forms:

Essay: Write as a rambling stream of thoughts about how life is always changing, and people need to learn to adapt, love, and explore.

Short story: The main character experiences a day full of surprises, or a turning point in life by engaging in something new.

Essay/reflection: Analyze the role of novelty in personal and social development.

If you have a more specific intention, for example, want to write an essay, a poem, or need inspiration to share a social media post, I can help you develop it further. Which direction would you like me to support?
