According to witnesses, the floodwaters swept up schools of large and small fish. Just bend down, scoop up a few times and the basket is full of fish, without the need for bait or fishing nets. "Never seen it so easy, scooping up a few times and the basket is heavy," a local shared. 

This image immediately attracted thousands of comments and shares. Many people were both excited and surprised by the scene that seemed only in the movies: “Going to collect fish during the flood season is like going to a free market”, or “Flood season is as fun as harvest season”.

However, local authorities also advised people to be extremely careful when wading into flood water due to strong currents, dangerous obstacles, or fish that can pose risks.
